On November 26, 2025, the Province of Bohol has been conferred the 2025 SubayBAYANI Award, sponsored by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) at the Manila Hotel.
SubayBAYANI is a national recognition celebrating exemplary performance in governance, transparency, and evidence-based development planning was presented during a national ceremony where Bohol under the leadership of Gov. Aris Aumentado.
After a thorough validation by DILG site validators, Bohol stood out among provinces for its innovative use of monitoring and evaluation systems in local development programs. According to DILG, PGBh is being recognized for its “unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and effective governance.”
Bohol which is among the finalists, has placed in the Top 10 Provinces of the SubayBayani Awards for 2 consecutive years already, in 2024 and 2025, a testimony of excellence and consistency.
