THE PROVINCIAL DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL (PDC) convened its regular meeting on July 2, 2026, at the Ceremonial Hall of the Bohol Provincial Capitol.
Provincial Administrator (PA) Asteria C. Caberte who presided over the Full Council meeting was impressed by its high-volume of attendance which brought together local government officials, national government agency (NGA) representatives, civil society organizations (CSOs), private sector partners, and other development stakeholders to discuss five (5) key priorities for endorsement to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP).

Among the highlights of the meeting were the presentations of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Roadmap and the Provincial Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP) Progress Report of which council members were updated on the Ongoing and Forthcoming Major Projects under the Philippine Rural Development Project (PRDP).


Moreover, the council also endorsed priority projects for funding and implementation which include the Proposed Construction of a four-storey Jail Building at the Ubay District Jail in Barangay Camambugan, Ubay, Bohol and the Supplemental Annual Investment Program (SAIP) No. 5 for CY 2026 which were evaluated based on their alignment with provincial development goals, budget availability, and anticipated socio-economic impact.
