  1. Do you have specific data on the exact location in Sikatuna, Bohol that is suspectible for soil erosion and its other soil properties?

    • We’re sorry, but we don’t have soil erosion data. You might want to refer to the municipality concerned or to the Bureau of Soil and Water Management.

    • The Slope Map is based on the Bureau of Soil and Water Management (BSWM) Slope Map scaled at 1:50,000 sheets, digitized by PPDO-Bohol GIS Unit sometime a couple of decades ago. It’s unfortunate the digitizing team did not document the date of publication of those map sheets. As new elevation data based on LIDAR already exists, there may be efforts to update these maps, if not updated maps may already exist. You might want to confirm with BSWM or perhaps NAMRIA.

    • Slope classification is digitized from the Bureau of Soils and Water Management (BSWM) Slope Map sheets scaled at 1:50,000. There is already an updated version based on higher resolution models. We haven’t acquired such data yet. BSWM was still finalizing the data when we last inquired.
