The Provincial Development Council convened in February 2013 to favorably endorse to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol the proposal to add the supplemental amount of One Hundred Twenty-Eight Million Four Hundred Ninety-Two Thousand Pesos (P128,492,000.00) to the Annual Invesment Program (AIP) of the Provincial Government of Bohol for CY 2013.
The listing of programs, projects and activities for funding were allocated over forty five (45) various projects under the following:
1. General Public Services – P 48,915,000.00
2. Economic Services – 34,902,000.00
3. Social Services – 44,675,000.00
After the presentation of the Bohol Integrated Solid Waste Management Plan (ISWMP) by Ms. Maria Socorro Trinidad of the Bohol Environment and Management Office, the Provincial Development Council favorably endorsed to the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Bohol the approval of the 10-year ISWMP of Bohol Province.
DPWH I District Engr. Francis Antonio Flores presented to the Council the list of FY 2014 Budget Proposal of the Programs, Activities and Projects of the District I Engineering District in the total amount of Php 1.09 Billion for several projects such as assets preservation of national roads, upgrading of roads and rehabilitation of bridges.
In behalf of DPWH II District Engr. Gregorio Sayson, Engr. Aguiman presented to the Council the list of FY 2014 Budget Proposal of the Programs, Activities and Projects of the Second Engineering District in the total amount of Php 536,234,000.00 for assets preservation of national roads, upgrading of roads and flood control and drainage projects.
DPWH III District Engr. Edilberto R. Ativo presented to the Council the list of FY 2014 Budget Proposal of the Programs, Activities and Projects of the District III Engineering District in the total amount of Php 900,000,000.00 for the access roads to declared tourism destination, replacement of temporary to permanent bridges, and asset preservation of national roads.
Cong. Arthur Yap’s representative, Ms. Ann Piquero Dy, moved for the approval and favorable endorsement of the proposed infrastructure Programs, Activities and Project of the DPWH Engineering Districts which was duly seconded. Thus the Council passed three resolutions favorably endorsing the proposed insfrastructure programs, activities and projects of the Department Of Public Works And Highways (DPWH) Engineering Districts I, II and III in the Province of Bohol for FY 2014 Budget to the DPWH Regional Office In Cebu City
Meanwhile, Engr. Diosdado Rosales presented to the council the proposed Small Irrigation Projects amounting to Php 1,490,925.00 and Five Priority Small Reservoir Irrigation Projects (SRIPs) amounting to P1,939,060.00.
The Council then passed a resolution favorably endorsing the proposed SRIP Projects of the National Irrigation Administration in the Province of Bohol for CY 2014 and the five priority Small Reservoir Irrigation Projects (SRIPs) to the Regional Development Council.
Finally, the council unanimously passed a resolution favorably endorsing the proposed Bohol Tourism Road Improvement Project (Bohol TRIP) to the Regional Development Council of Region VII (RDC-7), Department of Tourism (DOT), Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), and other proper government agencies for support and subsequent endorsement.
