Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding for the Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino: Zero ISF Program for 2028″

The Provincial Government of Bohol (PGBh) and the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) had the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the “Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino: Zero ISF Program for 2028” last November 25, 2022, at the Provincial Capitol Ceremonial Hall.

The initiative aims to develop housing projects for the benefit of the residents of Province of Bohol, especially the Informal Settler Families (ISFs), both for residential and commercial purposes, by pooling together technical, financial and manpower resources for the development of the said projects.

Undersecretary Atty. Garry de Guzman and Assistant Secretary Atty. Sharon Faith Paquiz of DHSUD represented Department Secretary Jose Rizalino L. Acuzar during the MOU Signing. Representatives from the Bohol DHSUD Housing and Real Estate Development Regulation Division (HREDRD), National Home Mortgage Finance Corporation (NHMFC) and the Social Housing Finance Corporation alongside Bohol Provincial Government department heads witnessed the momentous event.

DHSUD Undersecretary Atty. Garry de Guzman and Assistant Secretary Atty. Sharon Faith Paquiz join Regional Director Atty. Lyndon Juntilla in representing DHSUD while the Bohol Provincial Government is represented by Governor Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Vice Governor Dionisio Victor Balite, and Provincial Administrator Aster Caberte in the Signing of the MOU for the “Pambansang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino: Zero ISF Program for 2028.” The PPDO Secretariat take turns in assisting the signatories.
The Pambasang Pabahay Para sa Pilipino plans to build one million houses every year, or six million houses by the end of President Marcos, Jr.’s term. Bohol is among the first provinces to sign an agreement for the project implementation.
